Refurbishing the Albany Pump on the Hebridean Princess

Albany supplied an AP5 pump for the Hebridean Princess, a small luxury cruise ship which is part of the Hebridean Island Cruises fleet. The pump was fitted to the ship when it was built in the 1960s. The pump works as a servo pump running at 960 rpm. The pump was refurbished in 1973 and has run since then for 52 years. It has just been refurbished for a second time at Albany’s Lydney premises. The refurbishment consists of cleaning, checking, fitting new parts, testing and painting to bring the pump up to as new condition ready for further service with a new one year guarantee. Don’t hesitate to contact us if we can help by refurbishing your Albany pump or pumps from another manufacturer.
